Omaha Public Power crews are headed back to Nebraska.

The 16-person team has been in Florida since Sept. 28 providing mutual aid support for people displaced by recent hurricanes. They spent about six days helping restore power in West Virginia and Virginia after Hurricane Helene and then headed to Orlando, Florida to pre-stage ahead of Hurricane Milton.

Working side-by-side with Orlando utility crews, OPPD helped restore service to more than 83,000 customers.
