Tuesday night is the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in Philadelphia.

In Lincoln, Nebraska, there’s a very different kind of red-versus-blue contest happening.

It’s on the volleyball court.

The Creighton University Bluejays are searching for their first win against the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhuskers in program history.

Since their first matchup in 1980, the Bluejays have lost 22 games in a row to the Big Red, according to Husker Athletics records.

This year’s in-state meeting is expected to be competitive.

Both teams sit inside the top 10 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Nebraska is ranked fifth, and Creighton is ninth.

First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln.
