From JoJo’s Gelato and Grill in Aurora to Calamus Outfitters in Burwell, there are nearly six dozen hidden gems to discover this summer with the help of the 2025 Nebraska Passport.

“It’s the summer travel program that runs from May 1 to the end of September at 70 different destinations every summer, so there's always something new to discover and find within the state, and it's really great for everybody," said Passport Program Coordinator Madison Johnson.

The Passport program inspires Nebraskans and tourists from out of state to travel throughout the state collecting stamps to earn prizes while also supporting Nebraska's tourism destinations and local businesses.

"Year after year, Nebraskans and more and more out-of-state travelers alike use the Nebraska Passport as their guide to discovering what our state has to offer," said John Ricks, Visit Nebraska executive director. "We are excited to once again connect visitors to these gems and the communities where they thrive."

Passport travelers can expect to find all sorts of new and unique destinations during their travels this year. Highlights include female-owned businesses, historic treasures, delicious eats and a tour dedicated to showcasing Nebraska's thriving creative districts.

“Whether you are a longtime Passport traveler or just picking up a booklet for the first time, there is so much to see and do this year,” Johnson said.

Last year more than 1,000 travelers checked out all 70 destinations. Passports can be pre-ordered at NebraskaPassport.com. Participants are encouraged to download the Nebraska Passport App on their smartphone for the option of digital stamps, supplementing the physical Passport booklet for convenience.
