Nebraska Volleyball juniors Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson were both named the top players in the country at their positions on Friday.

Reilly was chosen as the top setter in all of college volleyball by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, while Jackson was named the top middle blocker.

The two players, who were both named First-Team All Americans earlier this week, played pivotal roles in helping the Huskers to a 33-1 season that included a third straight Big Ten championship.

Reilly, who was also named Big Ten Player of the Year and was a finalist for national Player of the Year, set the Huskers to a school-record .351 hitting percentage. She averaged 10.47 assists per set and 2.7 digs per set. She also totaled 73 kills, 67 blocks and 19 aces.

Jackson averaged 2.74 kills per set on .467 hitting with 1.12 blocks per set and 16 aces. Her .467 hitting percentage led the nation and was the No. 3 hitting percentage in school history for a single season.

In conference-only matches, Jackson hit .559 to break the Big Ten record for hitting percentage in conference-only matches in a season.

This is the latest of several postseason honors for the Nebraska volleyball program, following a dominating 33-0 start to the season that ended in the Elite Eight on Sunday.
