2023 Class D1 Flashback SEM beat Amherst 3-1 It was a clash of the underdogs as the sixth-ranked SEM Mustangs faced off against the fifth-ranked Amherst Broncos. The Mustangs won the first two sets before the Broncos interfered and took control of the third set. The Mustangs, led by senior Mikah O'Neill with 33 kills, regained control and won the fourth set 25-21 to secure SEM's first D1 title since 1981.
