Mary Beth Kennedy Interview

Now What?

Air Date: 12/12/2013

Mary Beth Kennedy first noticed her mother Marian's approaching dementia, when Marian found it hard to remember how to do things she had always done, like canning and baking. When she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia (DLB), that was the first time Mary Beth had heard of it. In this unedited interview, Mary Beth talks about her caregiving journey. While having to make the decision to move her mother into a memory support facility was difficult, Mary Beth now understands that she is a better caregiver with the support of the facility.
