Air Date: 11/18/2021
With a goal of keeping decision making on the farm, the water data management program, provides near real-time information in an easy to use format. Capitalizing on technology and partnerships, the program is using data to conserve water.
"Water is the big make or break as far as yield potential. It is one of the more important things that we manage. " Clark McPheeters, Gothenburg area farmer.
"I can't think of a better challenge to take on than try to better measure water so we can conserve it." Billy Tiller, CEO, Grower's Information Services Coop.
With data from the entire district, the Twin Platte will have better information about meeting state and other stream flow requirements.
