State of Volleyball

Air Date: 11/19/2020

In March, the pandemic swept across the United States, canceling sports seasons, and casting doubt and fear of the unknown. In August, the NCAA canceled all fall sports championships, leaving programs across the nation in disarray. Multiple iterations of planning and overcoming ever-changing challenges effected coaches and players everywhere.

However, looking ahead to 2021 brings an opportunity to make up a season lost, and the ability to return to the court with sights set on the road to the NCAA Volleyball Final Four at CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE on April 23-25.

Two of the top volleyball coaches in the nation, Nebraska head coach John Cook and Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth join Larry Punteney in studio to bring you the "State of Volleyball" in Nebraska.

Plus, Jordan Larson joins the program to talk about the postponement of the 2020 Olympics and her preparation and training heading into Tokyo 2021.
