Discovering Louis Grell: Vision & Versatility

Discovering Louis Grell, 1887-1960, Vision & Versatility, produced by UNO Television, chronicles Council Bluffs-born mural artist Louis Grell's prolific career and the work of the UNO Department of Art & Art History's Grell Curatorial Seminar to create the first comprehensive gallery show of Grell's works. Art students selected the art and did all the work associated with planning and staging the gallery show. The UNO Art Gallery show opened January 17 in UNO's Weber Fine Arts Building and ran through February 20, 2014. The video came about as part of the collaboration between the Department of Art and Art History, MaverickPR and The Louis Grell Foundation. The program was produced by UNO Television with support from The College of Communication, Fine Arts & Media and The Louis Grell Foundation.
