When he was diagnosed with cancer of the small intestine, Jon McAlprin believed it was terminal. His doctor encouraged him to stay positive. Then Jon met "Barnum & Bailey," a couple of infectiously happy greeters at Estabrook Cancer Center in Omaha. Jon was so taken with their ability to make people feel good that when he learned of a greeter position opening, he applied. Jon not only got the job, he believes it's one he was born to do.
