“The Ultimate Husker Fan” Steve Harley may be the ultimate Husker fan. Since 1969, he's created a scrapbook for every season of Husker football. Begun in 2008, the Avenue Scholars program has met with continued success – just like the students it serves. “A Promise Kept” In 1877, at the request of her grieving parents, the people of Neligh agreed to care for the grave of a Ponca Indian girl. Since that day, the town has tended the grave and recently, the tribe said thank you in a special ceremony.
