Michael Burton calls his process paintamation. It's similar to animation, but with paint. He creates an image on the canvas and when completed, he snaps of photo of it. Then, while the paint is still wet, he creates a new scene and then snaps another photo. After painting hundreds of scenes and snapping a equal number of photos, he edits his work into smart, imaginative films.
