Norfolk has reimagined the historic North Fork of the Elkhorn River into a living ribbon of whitewater. Surfers, kayakers, and floaters now ride the current through the heart of downtown. As whitewater parks pop up across the country, Norfolk has claimed a spot on the map with one of the state’s most unexpected river adventures.

The park’s three-mile route includes two put ins and two take outs
Seven drop structures are located in the heart of the whitewater park, which runs about a quarter mile.
The whitewater park includes a surf feature and is one of the very few Midwest locations that offers it.
Park amenities include a new amphitheater, playground equipment, and a network of interconnected trails.
