Extra: Nebraska Storytelling Festival

The Nebraska Storytelling Festival (a Nebraska Sesquicentennial event) will be held at Ponca State Park from August 6-8. The festival will allow guests to explore Nebraska history and the art of storytelling through presentations by more than 15 accomplished Nebraska authors, including Nebraska State Poet Twyla Hansen. It also features readings, oral storytelling, and writer’s workshops. Hansen and Ponca State Park Event Coordinator Lynn Mellick tell Genevieve Randall about the events.
