UP Coal Train Derails Near Gothenburg

A Union Pacific coal train derailed near Gothenburg, about 190 miles west of Lincoln, Thursday morning.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol the derailment involved 30 cars filled with coal.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. Union Pacific says the eastbound train was hauling coal from Wyoming.
There were no injuries. As of Thursday afternoon, cleanup efforts were still underway.
