Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln have until this (Sunday) afternoon to register for Covid-19 vaccines.

UNL is partnering with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department in registering students and distributing the vaccine.
Deb Fiddelke is the Chief Communication and Marketing Officer for UNL and she said the response from students has been positive.

“We know students were wanting this, so we’re really glad that we can take this first step to get the registry set-up," Fiddelke said. "And then hopefully within the next week or two it will quickly follow with the clinic where we’ll allow them to get a shot."

Fiddelke said they’re hoping to get all students vaccinated before the end of the spring semester. Registration will remain open until today (Sunday) at 5 p.m.
