UNL & Creighton Earn National Volleyball Tournament Bids

Two of Nebraska’s largest universities will compete in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament later this week.

As announced Sunday evening, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earned the 10th overall seed for this year’s tournament. The Huskers host Campbell University in first-round action. Winners of that contest and a matchup between Florida State and Kansas State tussle in the second round, which will also be played in Lincoln.

Creighton University was awarded the 14th seed. The Bluejays host Ole Miss in the first round and will welcome Oregon and Kansas to Omaha a part of their pod as well.

Husker Volleyball has now made it to 40 straight NCAA Tournaments, while Creighton makes its 10th straight appearance.
