Survey available for Nebraska livestock producers to share feedback

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Agricultural Profitability recently launched a survey for in-state livestock producers and operators to determine the cost of custom services.

People who both perform and pay for custom services are asked to respond to the survey, which can be found here.

The survey includes “charges for pasture maintenance, fencing, and trenching services, livestock processing fees and yardage rates, hauling fees, custom feed preparation, haying services, facility and equipment rental rates, manure pumping, hauling and application charges,” according to a press release.

People who perform custom services on an individual basis will be kept confidential. Nebraska averages and ranges will be published.
