The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which is holding classes online, has also moved all prospective and admitted student visits online.

The admissions office is holding different online sessions for seniors nearing their college decision and for underclassmen starting to explore their college options.

Separate sessions are also held for different academic majors, and for scholarships and financial aid.

Abby Freeman is director of admissions for UNL. She said the university is hosting their first admitted students’ day Sunday. The event has been moved online.

“There’s important information that seniors want and need to know,” Freeman said. “And we also wanted an opportunity to help them still find a way to build community with their incoming Husker class.”

The admissions office has also extended the enrollment deposit deadline to June 1st.
