Shooting in Downtown Lincoln Injures Three

The Lincoln Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning shooting outside a downtown Lincoln bar that left 3 people injured.

LPD says the shooting happened in the 1100-block of O St. at 2:38 a.m.

Police arrived on scene about a minute later and found three people injured. Officers began treating the victims on scene and then they were transported to a local hospital.

LPD says one person is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Another person is in critical but stable condition and the third person was treated at the hospital and released.

As of Saturday afternoon, no one was under arrest, but LPD says there is no threat to the general public.

LPD is asking anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information to call them at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600. Police are also asking people to avoid the area around 11th and O as they conduct their investigation.
