The National Weather Service in Hastings is advising people to be prepared for severe weather conditions over the next few days across Nebraska. Parts of Central and Western Nebraska could see hail and high winds with gusts up to 60 mph between 6 pm and midnight on Thursday night.
The threat increases on Friday starting around 3 p.m. for southwestern and central Nebraska, with potential for golf-ball-sized hail, damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.
Much of the state will see high winds through most of Saturday as well.
