Rep. Bacon Supports Ricketts' Plan to Re-Open Nebraska Regionally

Congressman Don Bacon says he supports Governor Pete Ricketts’ decision to gradually reopen the Nebraska economy.

Bacon said we need a solution that incorporates health and the economy.

"And I think we’re at that point where we need to have an incremental approach of opening up," Bacon said. "I’ve always thought it would not be a light switch turning on the economy, it would be like a dimmer switch where we gradually it up. And I think that’s what the governor is doing.”

The first restrictions will be lifted May 4 for some areas of the state. Others will likely follow on May 6.
