This week a former Douglas County, Nebraska crime scene investigator became a convicted felon, but state corrections officials say they do not anticipate any problems. David Kofoed faces up to four years in jail for planting evidence in a homicide investigation. Prison officials say the will review his case just like any others when deciding where he should be jailed and under what circumstances.
