The ongoing staffing shortage with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is affecting another popular state park.

The commission now says all of the buildings at the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park in North Platte are temporarily closed, because they don't have the employees to operate the attractions.

It's the latest closure because of an ongoing shortage at state parks. The park in North Platte announced last weekend that it would close its Buffalo Bill Ranch and Mansion due to the lack of workers.

Earlier this month, the commission announced it was reducing hours at many of Nebraska's state park facilities because of short staffing levels.

According to a release from the commission, park employment was affected with people heading back to school.

The Game and Parks Commission hasn't said when the buildings at the Buffalo Bill State Historical Park will reopen, but people can still use the outdoor recreational grounds for now.

The Game and Parks Commission says you should call ahead before visiting state parks to see what facilities are open and when.
