Omaha mayor defends record in face of recall

Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle is blaming himself for poor communications, while defending his record in the face of a likely recall election. Suttle has filed a lawsuit to challenge the validity of the recall election, which alleges widespread fraud in the recall petition drive. A hearing has been set in Douglas County District Court December 20th. Unless the challenge succeeds, the recall election will proceed, most likely in late January.
