Offensive slang targeted by Kearney students

A group of Kearney High School students is a little overwhelmed by what they started this winter. A project aimed at discouraging the use of slang and slurs that can hurt certain groups took off in a big way. Even some elementary school teachers want to reduce the increased use of certain words their students are using all too often. (One note of caution for listeners: some of the offensive slang is used in our report.)
