Volleyball fans, don’t get too cozy.
Husker season ticket holders will be reseated for the 2026 volleyball season, the University of Nebraska Athletic Fund said in a post on its website Wednesday. The Bob Devaney Sports Center will increase capacity from a little more than 8,300 seats to 10,000, which was announced in January.
The webpage says current ticketholders and athletic fund members will receive an online appointment to select their seats. Husker Athletics plans to notify fans one month ahead of their time. If the appointment is missed, fans can log on later to choose seats, though they have fewer options, according to the page.
The expansion is expected to increase volleyball revenue from $4.5 million to $8 million per year.
Current ticket holders will be placed into the reseating process without any immediate action.
Starting next month, people who don’t already have tickets can submit a $100 nonrefundable deposit to join the request list. The deposit deadline is March 18, 2026. The $100 will go toward ticket costs if selected for the reseat.
Also by March 18, all those on the request list will be put into a ranking category through the Huskers Athletic Fund, based on their donation level. This link will take fans to a ranking calculator. Priority will be given as follows:
- Season Ticket Holders: Nebraska Leadership Society
- Request List: Nebraska Leadership Society
- Season Ticket Holders: Hall of Fame
- Season Ticket Holders: Champion
- Request List: Hall of Fame
- Season Ticket Holders: Blackshirt
- Season Ticket Holders: Sea of Red

Ranking categories are determined by annual contributions of the following amounts:
- $100 - Sea of Red
- $1,000 - Blackshirt
- $5,000 - Champion
- $12,500 - Hall of Fame
- $25,000 - Nebraska Leadership Society
Next month, the athletic department may announce payment plan options for those contributions, the Husker Athletic Fund told Nebraska Public Media News.
The ranking system will also determine the number of tickets and parking spaces one person can purchase.
Appointment times will be sent out in April and May. June 8 through July 17 are the available dates for reseating appointments.
A similar process will be used for tickets to 2025 postseason matches in the Devaney Center but with a $20 deposit for people not holding season tickets, which can be submitted here.
