Nebraska volleyball returns to the court Thursday for a high-stakes exhibition tournament.
The Huskers will face Florida at 7 p.m. Central time in the Spikes Under the Lights tournament in Arlington, Texas.
Penn State and SMU will follow. The winners of the two matches will play in the tournament championship later around 9 p.m. Central, with the winner of that match taking home a $1 million prize.
Regular season action starts Saturday when the Huskers face UNLV in Las Vegas at 9 p.m. Central. No. 1 ranked NU will stay in Sin City for a Sunday afternoon match with No. 2 Texas.
Last season, NU won its first 33 games, before losing in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament to eventual national champion Texas A&M.
Nebraska returns four seniors who have been key contributors throughout the years, setter Bergen Reilly, outside hitter Harper Murray, middle blocker Andi Jackson and libero Laney Choboy. Underclassmen such as Olivia Mauch, Teraya Sigler and Virginia Adriano return after playing key roles on Dani Busboom Kelly’s first team in 2025.
