On Monday, Nebraska men’s basketball reached No. 10 in the Associated Press poll. That’s the school’s highest ranking since 1966.

In the 1965-66 season, the Big Red were ranked as high as No. 8, which is the best ranking in school history.

And the Huskers look like they want to stay in the top 10, winning another Big Ten road game Monday night, 72-69 over Ohio State.

This year, the program is off to its best start ever at 15-0. And Nebraska holds the longest winning streak in Division I at 19 games.

The win over Ohio State comes after a Friday night home win in dramatic fashion against previously No. 9 Michigan State, 58-56.

In conference play, NU is 4-0, half a game ahead of No. 2 Michigan and No. 5 Purdue, which each have a 3-0 Big Ten record.
