The Nebraska State Capitol will light up with the colors of Ukraine’s flag starting Saturday night, the office of Governor Pete Ricketts announced Friday.

The blue and yellow glow of Nebraska’s Capitol is designed to show support toward Ukraine’s independence from Russia. Ukraine’s colors will be on display until Sunday, March 13th.

The state will also continue reviewing its investments and remove any connections to Russia. So far, the governor’s office said Nebraska’s review shows no business has been done with a Russian company in nearly 20 years. The state added what’s described as ‘low exposure’ to Russia in state business is also decreasing.

In the statement, Governor Ricketts said he encourages Nebraskans to pray for the Ukrainian people, and added “the free world must unite to punish Putin and isolate Russia.”
