Over 3.4 million people work in US agricultural production. AgriSafe Network, a farm safety nonprofit, is highlighting farmworker safety in a series of free webinars this week.

This year’s theme is "Every Farmer Counts." Organizer Knesha Rose-Davison said she wanted to reach a more diverse range of workers this year.

"We focus on safety of our farm workers, because oftentimes, they're looking at their livestock, they're looking at their crop," Rose-Davison said. "And we want them to know that you are also one of the most important resources on your farm, so we care about your health and safety.”

Organizers said webinars will cover work safety, emergency planning, COVID-19, mental health, and women’s health issues.
