Methane Measurement Device

A Lincoln biosciences company has been recognized for one of the top 100 technology inventions of the last year by R & D Magazine. LI-COR developed an Open Path Methane Analyzer which measures methane gas emissions at places like landfills and livestock operations. The Analyzer is an advancement in technology in part because it requires low power to operate and can be utilized in remote locations. Methane is a greenhouse gas estimated to be about 20 times more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide.
