Concession sales at Memorial Stadium grew significantly in the first year it became a cash-free stadium.

Vendors at Memorial Stadium grossed $6 million in sales this year. That compares to $4.5 million generated last season, according to Husker Athletics. The change represents a 33% increase.

Nebraska hosted seven home games in 2024, the same number as last year.

The athletic department announced the move to cashless in late August. In an October interview, Athletic Director Troy Dannen said card-only sales decreased wait time for food and drinks.

The Huskers wrapped up their home schedule Saturday with a 44-25 win against Wisconsin to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2016.

NU travels to Iowa for a primetime Black Friday game to close out the regular season.
