On October 9th, 2018, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and presidential biographer Jon Meacham delivered the 2018 Governor’s Lecture in the Humanities at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln. His speech was titled “Tumult, Tragedy and Hope: America in 1968 From a Half-Century’s Perspective.”
