The Lincoln Children’s museum will re-open Thursday after being closed for the last few months due to COVID-19.

Marketing manager Aftan Reinsch said members have been eager to visit again, and the museum can help parents teach their kids how to act in this "new normal" before school starts.

"Parents can observe their kiddos and guide their kiddos on how to social distance, how to properly wear a mask, and just how to play in this new normal that we see," Reinsch said.

Reinsch said they’ll follow guidelines from the CDC and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.

All guests over the age of five must wear a mask, and each guest will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Reinsch says all equipment will be sanitized regularly.
