La Vista Police Continue Search for Missing 12-Year-Old

The La Vista Police Department continues its search for Ryan Larsen, a 12-year-old autistic boy who’s been missing since May.
Bob Lausten is the chief of police in La Vista and said as each month passes, the search for Ryan becomes more difficult.
“You know, we don’t have any concrete evidence to show where he’s at,” Lausten said. “You know, whether he was abducted, or he wandered away, or there’s foul play involved. We’re looking at [it] from every angle and we hope for a positive resolution soon.”
Lausten said his department continues to use all the resources available, which includes help from the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, the Nebraska State Patrol, and the FBI.
Ryan Larsen went missing on May 17th. He’s described as a 12-year-old white male, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He’s an estimated five-feet, eight-inches tall and 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, an Old Navy shirt, and black jacket with orange on the shoulders.
