When voters head to the polls Tuesday, there’s a hotline they can call if they encounter problems.

Gavin Geis of Common Cause Nebraska says help is available for a range of issues, like being at the wrong polling place, seeing political signs too close to the polls, or being asked for ID.

If there is a question about your eligibility to vote, you may be able to cast a provisional ballot that can be counted later when the question is resolved. Political signs aren’t allowed within 200 feet of the polls. And voter ID is not required, although a measure on the ballot asks if it should be, in future elections. Voters with questions can contact a volunteer poll monitor, wearing a yellow tee shirt. People can also call a hotline for help in English or other languages. Here are those numbers:

English: 866-687-8683

Spanish: 888-839-8682

Arabic: 844-925-5287

Bengali, Cantonese, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, Urdu and Vietnamese: 888-274-8683
