Heat Advisory Issued for Tuesday Afternoon

The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a heat advisory for Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. for Central Nebraska.
The N-W-S says peak heat index temperatures, created by both temperature and humidity, will range between 100 and 106 during the afternoon.
The hottest peak heat will be felt in York, Fullerton, and Hebron.
Weather officials caution people to limit outdoor activities during the advisory and to be on the lookout for signs of heat exhaustion such as clammy skin, dizziness, muscle cramps and nausea.
