Drive-thru coronavirus testing will begin Tuesday at Bryan Health’s Lifepointe location in south Lincoln. Hospital officials say the drive-thru service will be open seven days a week between 2 pm and 6 pm. Patients who want to use the drive-thru clinic should enter on the far west side of Lifepointe’s parking lot and have an appointment.

“In order to be scheduled, a patient will receive a referral from their doctor’s office or from Bryan ezVisit,” said Dr. Eric Mooss, president of Bryan’s physician network. “Once they receive this referral, someone from Bryan will call each patient to schedule them for the drive-thru clinic appointment.”
The clinic will be able to perform 60 tests a day. One person per vehicle will be tested. Mooss said if you don’t have an appointment and show up for a test, you’ll be instructed to get a referral from your physician. He said there will be a variety of tests at the drive-thru clinic.
“We will be screening for influenza, respiratory testing and COVID-19 testing if warranted,” Mooss said. “It is important to note that if a person undergoes respiratory testing, they will be sent home to self-quarantine and someone will call them with the results of the test.”
Drive-thru testing had been delayed for more than a week because of shortage of test kits.
