Creighton University women’s basketball plays tonight in the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament. The Bluejays play Iowa State at 8:30 p.m. CT in Greensboro, NC.

Creighton Head Coach Jim Flanery said Iowa State will be prepared. However, he said his team is familiar with high-pressure situations and can easily adapt.

“I think we’re not the easiest team to prepare for, and we are may be a little bit different than a lot of teams,” Flanery said. “Because we don’t run a cookie-cutter offense where you can just say ‘here’s what we’re going to do.’ We’re a little bit more random and a little bit more able to, kind of, morph during the course of a game into something a little different than what we were [in] the previous game.”

Creighton is one of 16 teams remaining in the tournament, after upsetting No. 2 seed Iowa last weekend. It’s the furthest Creighton has made it in the NCAA Tournament in program history.

The winner of tonight’s game advances to the regional final, or Elite Eight, to play the winner of North Carolina and South Carolina on Sunday.
