Coming off a top-10 win at home on Saturday against Purdue, Nebraska volleyball hosts No. 3 ranked Wisconsin Wednesday night. The Huskers will get a big test of their undefeated Big Ten record.

Nebraska and Wisconsin are first and second in the Big Ten standings, respectively.

In an interview with the Sports Nightly radio show earlier this week, Husker head coach John Cook said the Badgers have a lot of experienced players on their roster.

“They’re a handful and they've played some really good volleyball this year,” Cook said. “I mean, it’s a big match. All these matches are huge, so as we keep going, they get bigger and bigger because there’s more on the line and you’re playing for more.”

A Cornhusker win would tie their best start in Big Ten Conference play, which was an 11-0 start in 2011. Nebraska’s current 10-match win streak is the longest for the program since 2018.

Wisconsin boasts a 9-match winning streak of their own. Nebraska has yet to knock off the Badgers in their last five meetings, with the most recent Husker win coming in 2017. However, Nebraska leads the all-time series with 19 wins, eight losses and one tie.

Tonight's match begins at 8 p.m. Central Time. Following the tussle with Wisconsin, the Huskers will travel to 11th-ranked Minnesota on Saturday.
