The Associated Press has called incumbent Republican Rep. Adrian Smith as the winner of Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District race.

The district represents 75 of the state’s 93 counties. Smith was first elected to serve the western portion of the state in 2006. Running against Smith was Mark Elworth Jr. from the Democratic Party and Dustin Hobbs from the Libertarian Party. This will be Smith’s 8th term holding the position.
