$1.6M worth of marijuana seized during I-80 traffic stop

Nebraska State Patrol troopers seized over five hundred pound of marijuana during a traffic stop on Monday.
A trooper stopped a blue Freightliner truck near Shelton noticing that the truck was driving on the shoulder of the road. Upon searching the trailer of the truck, the trooper discovered over a dozen boxes filled with hundreds of bags of marijuana.
The boxes of marijuana are estimated to be worth 1.6 million dollars.
The driver, 51-year-old Vladimir Javier of Homestead, Florida, is currently being held in Buffalo County Jail for possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver.
