Nebraska Public Media’s ‘On the Road’ Tour Goes to Central Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (May 21, 2024) – Nebraska Public Media is hitting the road this spring and will offer a great lineup of events and entertainment across Central Nebraska.
Beginning June 6 and ending June 11, the tour includes stops in Grand Island, Lexington, Hastings and Kearney.
Families have the opportunity to join in on the activities during one of several PBS KIDS Family Events. Children can meet Alma from Alma’s Way and enjoy family-friendly arts activities.
Residents are invited to attend a screening of Nebraska Public Media’s local television documentary “The Magic of Murals,” which features murals across Nebraska that celebrate its rich history, diverse cultures and tight-knit communities.
Join Nebraska Public Media, Connecting Young Nebraskans and Kearney Young Professionals Network for a special team trivia night hosted by Nebraska Public Media’s music director Genevieve Randall that covers everything from classical to pop, with some fun surprises.
