Nebraska Public Media YouTube Series Relives Best High School Sports Games
LINCOLN, Neb. (Sept. 3, 2024) – Fans can relive the best moments of Nebraska high school sports right now with Nebraska Public Media’s new YouTube series “Nebraska High School Classics.”
New episodes of featured games are available for streaming each week at youtube.com/nebraskapublicmedia.
The series highlights iconic games from Nebraska Public Media’s archive, including all the last-minute shots and unforgettable stories that families, communities and athletes treasure. Championship games featured in “Nebraska High School Classics” were produced in cooperation with the Nebraska School Activities Association.
Host Larry Punteney and veteran play-by-play announcers take viewers back, dusting off the archives and presenting a condensed version of historic games – football, volleyball, basketball and more.
The series will also offer fresh interviews with coaches, players and sportswriters who remember the excitement of the “big” high school games.
