Nebraska Public Media Televises ‘Omaha Symphony in Concert: Choral Collaborative’

LINCOLN, Neb. (May 30, 2025) – Nebraska Public Media and the Omaha Symphony will bring another of the symphony’s concerts to television viewers across the state this summer.

“Omaha Symphony in Concert: Choral Collaborative” will air at 8 p.m. CT, Friday, June 13, on Nebraska Public Media.

This recorded program features more than 300 students from six Omaha-area high schools perform Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” as part of the Omaha Symphony’s Choral Collaborative program.

Choral Collaborative gives students the opportunity to perform a world-class repertoire, work with professional soloists and participate in an intense learning and rehearsal process.

Omaha-area schools taking part in the 2025 Choral Collaborative performances include: Bellevue West High School, Omaha Central High School, Creighton Prep High School, Elkhorn High School, Fremont High School and Millard South High School.
