Nebraska Public Media Remembers Iconic High School Games for YouTube Series
LINCOLN, Neb. (Sept. 18, 2025) – Nebraska Public Media’s YouTube series “Nebraska High School Classics” relives the best moments of high school sports, remembering the iconic games, last-second shots and unforgettable stories that our communities, families and athletes treasure.
New episodes drop on Nebraska Public Media’s YouTube channel each Wednesday through Nov. 5 at YouTube.com/NebraskaPublicMedia.
In season two of “Nebraska High School Classics,” veteran sportscaster and host Larry Punteney sits down for fresh interviews with coaches, players and sportswriters who remember the excitement of championship games.
The episodes include highlights of history-making football, volleyball and basketball matchups that bring back the thrill of gameday. Condensed broadcasts of the legendary games will also be published on YouTube.
