Nebraska Public Media New Station KNNE in McCook Temporarily Off Air
LINCOLN, Neb. (June 20, 2025) – For those who listen to Nebraska Public Media in the McCook area, the new radio station, KNNE at 90.7 FM, will be temporarily off air due to antenna issues.
Since the station’s launch, the antenna has been taken down and returned to the manufacturer to re-engineer a critical component. This work will ensure long-term reliability.
The process could last several weeks. During this outage, listeners can still receive live radio anytime online at NebraskaPublicMedia.org or by downloading the Nebraska Public Media app on mobile devices. To learn more, visit NebraskaPublicMedia.org/apps.
This affects those who listen over-the-air in the communities of Bartley, Culbertson, Danbury, Hamlet, Hayes Center, Indianola, Lebanon, Maywood, McCook, Palisade, Perry, Red Willow, Stratton, Trenton and Wauneta. This does not affect television.
