Nebraska Public Media, CIWRO Seeks Focus Group Participants
LINCOLN, Neb. (March 26, 2024) – In cooperation with Nebraska Public Media, the Cooperative Institute for Severe and High Impact Weather Research and Operations is looking for people who are interested in the future of severe weather alerts on television.
This research focus group will last one hour and will help the institute learn what types of information viewers want to see in a television emergency alert for severe weather such as tornadoes, wind and hail.
Those interested can sign up for a time between Tuesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 4 in Lincoln at tinyurl.com/3fzha7s6.
Participants must be 19 years or older to participate and will be reimbursed for their time with a $20 Amazon gift card.
