Electrical Updates Interrupt KUON Television Service

LINCOLN, Neb. (June 20, 2025) – For those who watch Nebraska Public Media in Lincoln and surrounding communities with an over-the-air antenna, KUON will be off the air Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21.

This planned outage allows electrical updates to the station. No other television stations will be affected, and radio will not be impacted.

Viewers can watch Nebraska Public Media anytime live online at NebraskaPublicMedia.org/live or with the PBS App on a smart TV or mobile device. Programming is also available on the Nebraska Public Media app on mobile devices.

This outage affects over-the-air antenna viewers in the counties of: Burt, Butler, Cass, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Merrick, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Platte, Polk, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Stanton, Washington and York.
